Abstract

Muhammad bin Hassan Safar, as one of the oldest sources left from the beginning of the occultation of Sughra, can be explored with the approach of Mahdism. In this source, 37 narrations deal with the issue of Mahdism without repetition.Since various Mahdavi topics are seen in these narrations; This research aims to identify the main and sub-topics of Mahdavi Basaer's narratives with the "content analysis" method and then classify and analyze the main categories. From the examination of all narrations, 9 main topics were extracted in the form of 44 conceptsTopics such as the life of Imam Mahdi (A.S.) in the Age of Advent, the legacy of His Holiness, the purpose of the Advent, the Companions of the Imam, and the blessings of the Age of Advent are given special attention. In the following, based on qualitative analysis, the most important category of this work was known as "Emergence Age Narratives".This exclusivist approach can be interpreted as the product of the author's main thinking in introducing the special science of Ahl al-Bayt and considering the emergence period as close as possible. The existence of some isolated traditions and their non-transcription until the late Majlisi's time shows that these kinds of traditions were far from the conventional discourse of Shiite scholars; But the main themes can be traced in other hadith heritages.
